Nestled in the heart of the Friulian hills, where gentle slopes meet meadows and woodlands, Agriturismo All'Antica Scuderia del Castello was founded in 2001 as a place of peace, nature and authentic hospitality.
Housed in a charming two-storey building dating back to the 1700s ,once the stable of the castle of Susans, the agriturismo has been carefully restored and furnished with original antique furniture and traditional tools, preserving its historic soul.
We offer bed and breakfast accommodation in a warm and welcoming environment, ideal for guests seeking tranquillity, silence and a close connection with nature.

Our rooms — Liberty, Ciliegio, Mirto and Maggiociondolo — are furnished with handcrafted antique pieces, each with its own unique character.

The philosophy is to bring people closer to the world of extra virgin olive oil, to learn about the qualities and flaws of this product and make informed purchases.
From harvesting in the field, to the production process, or simply an organoleptic journey with sensory workshops.
On the gentle slopes of Susans, we cultivate over 350 olive trees. Since 1997, we selected and planted renowned, high-quality cultivars: Frantoio, Leccino, Pendolino and Bianchera, a local variety of Friuli Venezia Giulia that thrives in this unique territory.
The average production is about 300 liters of olive oil per year, a deliberately limited quantity that allows meticulous control at every stage and guarantees consistently superior, authentic quality.
There are places where time doesn't disappear—it simply softens. This year, our story gains a new chapter with the arrival of a swimming pool and sun terrace, thoughtfully created to offer moments of quiet pleasure and deep relaxation.

Sehr nette und gemütliche Unterkunft in einer unglaublich schönen und ruhigen Ecke Italiens. Das altehrwürdige Haus liegt auf einem kleinen Hügel umgeben von Grün und bietet auch einen kleinen Garten zum draußen sitzen. Die komfortablen Zimmer sind groß und geschmackvoll mit Stilmöbeln eingerichtet. Sehr nette und hilfreiche Inhaberin, die ein leckeres und familiäres Frühstück anbietet. Ich würde jederzeit wieder für ein paar Tage zurückkehren.
Io e mio marito abbiamo passato un rilassante weekend in Friuli soggiornando in questa bella struttura, che si trova in una posizione strategica per visitare borghi e castelli. La camera con bagno davvero ampia e comoda. Ottima la prima colazione, eccellente l'olio di loro produzione. La proprietaria Barbara gentile e disponibile ci ha dato ottime indicazione su cosa visitare. Ci torneremo di sicuro.
