The Secrets of Extra Virgin Olive Oil
We are honored to have been invited to share our experience as olive growers at the conference "L'Olio Nuovo dal Cuore del FVG", taking place on November 25, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. at the Mercato Coperto di Campagna Amica in Udine.
The date was chosen with care, as it coincides with the International Olive Tree Day, proclaimed by UNESCO's Executive Council on November 26. This day celebrates and protects this ancient tree while promoting the universal values that unite people and cultures around the world. The event also provided the perfect opportunity to unveil our new label—one that pays tribute to our extraordinary and irreplaceable miller, David, originally from Denmark, whose expertise and dedication are at the heart of our production.
This year brings an exciting new addition to our range. Alongside our classic blend, the single-varietal Frantoio, and our lemon-infused oil, we are introducing a chili-infused olive oil. This special oil is produced through the simultaneous milling of olives and chili peppers, all grown, processed, and milled entirely in Friuli Venezia Giulia.
The chili peppers are cultivated by our own farm as well as by B-orto in Gemona del Friuli (UD). The chili olive oil is packaged in a practical and eco-friendly 100 ml tin.
